Not a fan of apartment living but this by far has been a wonderful experience. I had to move from my house and was really nervous but things are good so far. Great amenities and location close to highway, shopping, plaza, westport, etc. I rarely need maintenance but when I do things get fixed. It's quiet, except for a train every once in a while. About to renew my lease for year #2

Worst Ever. I lived here for a year. They showed me a different apartment then they gave me. This was apparent as the patio had sunk into the ground and had a significant slope. I couldn't put anything out on the patio because of this. I had a table, but everything that could rolled off. Sweet! I had a patio chair with wheels, it would always roll into the corner. Even sitting on the chairs out there was uncomfortable. They didn't seem to care and was told I saw the same apartment. Yea...no. Next, the garage door was being funky at my apartment. I requested maintenance to fix it. Cool right? Nah, the next day the entire garage door fell on my car. I asked the manager Toni, to please take pictures of the damage after they removed the door from the top of my car (I had to get a ride to work that day because they couldn't get there in time, awesome) She said she would. She didn't, when I asked she pretended I was stupid or something. That didn't even bother me too much I guess. I'm an easy going guy. Here's the big one for me. I got an electric bill of between $170 and $230 for a 1BR apartment, for 4 months straight starting in June. It was hot right? But not $170-230 electric bill hot. I kept my A/C at 76 degrees. I don't think this is unreasonable, I've lived placed much cheaper. When I asked management about what the average electric expense was, they not only wouldn't tell me, but demanded all sorts of stuff from me. Finally, I just pressed until they told me that a 2BR model unit would get an electric bill of $200-250 on average. What? No, this is not normal. I have friends who power an entire house for less than this. Long story short, these apartments have ZERO insulation, they wouldn't help to solve the issue. A normal month was around $100 in electric without using anything. it was absurd. Now, just the staff in general, I'm talking about Toni and Marla. Marla was nice I guess, except she would not answer anything you ever ask her straight. She would beat around the bush until you had to get Toni involved, who was the most fake person I've ever met. This lady has no respect and wont do anything to help you. Not to mention, the exterior of the apartments is disgusting. Its just caked on dirt that hasn't ever been washed. Plus all the cats running around the property. It was just gross. I could not wait to leave these apartments. COULD NOT WAIT. Toni and Marla, if you're reading this. I hope you get fired just for sheer incompetence. Edit: I also challenge you guys to take a look at the review timings here. I posted my review, then they got a couple other VERY similar negative feedback responses (I saw the other guy who had electric problems, at least he figured his out). Then two people M Anne E and Sam Williams, wrote two reviews on the same day? Look how many reviews each has. Exactly 6 each, coincidence (click on their name to see the true # of contributions)? Stay away from these scam artists.

Extremely Rude manager! We lived In pinegate for 2 years. One day we had an issue when the kitchen sink suddenly got clogged and when the dishwasher was working dirty water backed into the kitchen sink. I left the management a message about the issue in the evening and next day we were assured maintainable will fix it. By noon no one showed so my wife talked to them and again she was assured it will be taken care of same day. At 4 pm no one showed and when I called them they said it will be done next day and it's not an emergency! I talked to the manger and told her if she would be OK to stay in a home with clogged sink and backed water with kids and she said the rudest thing :" I know how to take care of my apartment and how to keep it clean." After that we decided to not renew and leave and we just receive their final bill for $1400 because they changed the whole kitchen! I had multiple friends who left around the same time because of the rude management and all of them having issues of being charged unreasonable amount of money as a part of moving out l. I would recommend staying away from this property and finding somewhere else where management knows how to treat people and not try to not only take your deposit but also to steal your hard earned money.

- Rude staff. - EXTREMELY slow in maintenance. I was in this place for 2 years, the old management here were nice and helpful. This is not the case anymore. The new team hired, is rude and very slow in fixing issues related to the apartments. I am definitely moving once the contract is done. I wrote this review few months ago, now I am updating it. Beside they are rude, they will also overprice the charge list. They mailed me with the stuff I have to pay for, asking me to pay 571$ for the oven that I am sure I left in excellent shape. I hate to say this, but I regret choosing this apartment for me. I wish there is an option for stars in minus. Please, don't do my mistake, find a different place that will not steal your money.

I used to live there for 3 years. Love the big swimming pool. When ever you have a complaint with your neighbors about anything, like loud noise. They will take care of it immediately but sometimes they will terminate their lease. I had to leave because of rental price going up.

I moved into my 2 bd 2 bth in 2009 $975 was the rent not bad.. 2 dogs and a cat i have so there was a deposit of $300 ( for long term pet wear in apt?) i assume as most places do to cover carpet ext.... plus deposit.. now in may 2015 my girlfriend is having issue with skin cancer so ive asked to break my lease so that i can move in with her and be closer/help with the recovery. I bit the bullet an paid the $1960 relet fee.. cleaned my place well! not amazingly clean just proper clean.. always needs a pro.. plus its been 6 years with little to no maintenance calls because nothing major broke too often one leaky sink one bad dryer... any way long story short i moved out and on july 26th or so i receive a bill and check list dated july 23rd.. 23days after i moved out mind you.... for like $775+ for cleaning some minor scratches on door trim and like a couple broken blinds(which i detailed and noted on the same checkin sheet i filled out upon move in. The place was dirty when i moved in.. the blinds had a few broken shades.. they sent me both my checklist and there overpriced charge list.. and still they have the nerve to charge me $775 in addition to ths $1960 they already took for my troubles.. bottom line dont waste your money or time there are much better communities to live in who wont try and nickel and dime you in a time of pain sadness and family misfortune... Cheers to a better business plan Hickok Dible and Pinegate apartments it was good until the end......... dont make the same mistake i did..... live elsewhere people

Staff is great and the maintenance crews are quicker than I would ever expect from an apt complex.
